Depending on individual perception, it's either a great time to be a MoPar fan or a sad time to be a MoPar fan. In addition to a whole line-up of fun SRT offerings, the mere existence of incredible cars like the Hellcats and forthcoming Demon are enough to proudly wave the MoPar flag as high as you can. But that sentiment quickly turns bittersweet when minds drift to the certain death of the mighty Viper. As feared, Fiat Chrysler will shutter its legendary Conner Avenue assembly plant at the end of this summer, possibly ending the Viper's legacy for good. That's very unfortunate for enthusiasts, but, when it comes to collectors, less supply always equals more demand. With that in mind, many collectors are looking to grab top-notch examples of the latest and greatest edition of America's brashest exotic. And this low mileage GTS is top notch in every way!
BODYWORK/TRIM
Logging only 2,777 miles over the course of three years, this pristine coupe is layered in sinister GTS-R Blue Pearl Coat which, dressed in $5K worth of Billet Silver racing stripes, displays fantastic reflections. As is the case with most Vipers, this car has been a meticulously cared for toy rather than a daily driver or a weekend track weapon. Naturally, fit and finish are exceptionally good with composite body panels that show no signs of age-related stress. And it all adds up to one seriously capable supercar that'll show with the finest classics and run with the fastest challengers!
Inspired by the classic lines of the Shelby Cobra roadster and the modern flair of Dodge's own Stealth performance coupe, the Viper is revolutionary design. The front of the car centers menacing Dodge crosshairs between a mean snake emblem and combination LED/HID headlights. At the top of that grille, a functional ram air hood, which features deep heat extractors, leads wind to pristine, factory glass. At the sides of the car, aggressively sculpted doors hang body-matched mirrors between wide fenders, small “GTS” emblems, Gloss Black B-pillar vents and silver-trimmed exhaust. And at the back of the car, a Gloss Black valance centers snake skin-style LED taillights between a silver fuel filler, a small diffuser and a conservative spoiler that features a Viper-branded Center High Mount Stop Lamp.
ENGINE
The monster rumbling under this Dodge's massive hood needs no introduction. Displacing 8.4 liters and turning stout 10.2 to 1 compression into a killer 640 horsepower and an even 600 lb./ft. of torque, this 513 cubic inch beast is one of the most outrageous powerplants ever bolted between two fenders! Dodge designers knew the big engine would be a focal point, so they went out of their way to dress it up a bit with a red-tinged, Viper branded cowl. Naturally, the all-aluminum mill is factory immaculate, from its structural X-brace and dual throttle bodies all the way down to its aluminum oil pan and tubular exhaust manifolds. And virtually everything under the car's forward-tilt bonnet looks as clean as the day it rolled out of Detroit's fabled 'snake pit'.
DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION
Under the floor, you'll find a clean chassis that centers a Tremec TR6060 6-speed in front of a limited-slip differential that's stuffed with 3.55 gears. Aided by standard Electronic Launch Control, that driveline is capable of pushing the Viper to a 129 MPH quarter-mile pass in approximately 11.4 seconds. That said, this coupe is no slouch in the corners, either. Guided by 5-mode Electronic Stability Control, the car's dual-mode, fully independent suspension can pull 1.03gs on the skid pad. At the corners of those bones, dual-piston, power-assisted calipers, backed by electronic distribution and a standard ABS, squeeze 14-inch, slotted rotors. And all that thoroughbred hardware rolls on $1,100 worth of optional Venom-Hyper wheels, which spin 295/30ZR18 Pirelli P Zeros in front of 355/30ZR19 Pirelli P Zeros.
INTERIOR
Over the years, the Viper has quietly grown its brash, bare bones cockpit into a driving environment that's truly worthy of its outrageous performance and incredible aesthetics. That transition is blatantly obvious between this GTS's doors thanks to Dodge's optional, $7,500 Laguna Interior Package. Power bucket seats wrap 6-way adjustment in Sabelt Premium Leather. In front of those seats, a stitched and leather-wrapped dash hangs LCD telemetry, supplemented by Dodge's awesome Performance Pages system, next to pushbutton ignition and air conditioning that's finished with automatic temperature control. The tunes keep bumping thanks to optional SRT High Performance audio, which fronts 14 speakers and four subwoofers with HD radio, satellite radio, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and Uconnect. In front of the driver, an SRT steering wheel laps standard Cruise Control and adjustable foot pedals. That technology is framed in stitched door panels, a stitched console and an alcantara headliner. And all the amenities you'd expect in a high-dollar sports car are present and accounted for, including an alarm system, a ParkView rearview camera and Keyless Enter-N-Go.
OUR SALE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING ITEMS

Simply put, this 2014 GTS is about as much fun as you can have on four wheels! It's a tough task to think of many 'grown up toys' that are better suited for making people smile. And that's not even considering the collectability of what is the greatest, and possibly last, Viper ever created. Don't miss this excellent opportunity to ink a deal on a car that, even ten years off the showroom floor, will be one of the fastest and most exclusive machines on the road!
